Over the past decade, Elm City Cycling has sought to foster a close partnership with the city of New Haven Department of Transportation, Traffic & Parking. By providing a community forum for discussions about the future of bicycle transportation in New Haven, ECC provides a cohesive, well-researched voice for the cycling community and reduces the need for the city to buy expensive public outreach and planning services from private consultants.
