For several weeks in the spring and summer of 1661, the fugitive judges Edward Whalley and William Goffe, wanted for having signed the death warrant for King Charles I in 1649, hid from British authorities in Judges' Cave atop West Rock. Join us as we retrace history and visit Judges' Cave, with stops at points of interest on each of the streets named for Whalley, Goffe and the third regicide, John Dixwell.
